A Little Story Behind the Name

Sweetpea & Sage was created from something very close to my heart—my daughter and the special bond we share.

I wanted to create a business name that intertwined a little piece of me with a little piece of her. We were both born in April, just a few days apart, making our birthdays an especially meaningful time for our family. Growing up, my mom lovingly called me “Sweetpea,” and sweet pea also happens to be one of April’s beautiful birth flowers! Sage is my daughter’s middle name and one of my favorite scents!

Together, Sweetpea + Sage represents two generations, a special mother-daughter bond, and the little pieces of our story that make us who we are.

Why Permanent Jewelry?

I started Sweetpea & Sage because I wanted to create something that was more than just jewelry. I love the idea of wearing a little reminder of someone, something, or a moment that means something to you.

Permanent jewelry can celebrate so many of life's little moments; a friendship, a mother and daughter, a wedding, a milestone, a new chapter, or simply a reminder to yourself of how far you've come.

There's something so special about sitting down together (or on your own), choosing a chain or charm, and creating a piece that becomes part of your story. I wanted Sweetpea & Sage to feel warm, personal, and meaningful; a place where people can slow down, connect, celebrate, and leave with something beautiful they can carry with them every day.

What started with a name inspired by my daughter and my own childhood has grown into a business built around connection, sentiment, and celebrating the people and moments we never want to forget.
